Well now that you do know about it...you would be more than welcome, and we would love to meet you.
It was opened in March 1995 and is well attended by people of all walks of life that have a variety of mental health problems.
It has a wonderful fishpond (with fish), that make for a very calming
and relaxing atmosphere to sit beside and watch.
There are also lovely gardens to take a stroll through which were clawed out of wild scrub,
there's a wildlife garden too, plus a greenhouse. and if the mood strikes you,
you can cut the grass, weed and do essential maintenance , or just enjoy them as is. It's entirely up to you
There is also a cafe which serves good wholesome home cooked food, and is very cheap!
The staff consist of Helen, the manager, Allan the asst. mngr, and June.
They are all very helpfull and will listen to you if you need to share
or will assist you with anything that they can.
There is also a computer which is for your use
and there is a musicgroup if you want to play, sing or just listen.
We who sing and play always need an audience, so the more the merrier.
